This week's requirement at My Sheri Crafts is to create a Christmas-themed ornament/home decor. I altered a birdhouse that I got from Michael's. The base of the birdhouse was painted with crackle paint and I covered the roof and sides with paper from DCWV and Graphic 45. The awning at the roof was made using the Martha Stewart Cornice border punch, and I made a wreath using Martha Stewart branch punch. The "berries" are made of Liquid Pearls. I added ribbon "pillars" along the edges and Stickles to frame the "windows".
This is AWESOME, Peachy! LOVE it!!! I had bookmarked a birdhouse I'd seen recently as I need to do one this month (yikes!) for a friend's birthday. Haven't done one, but think it will be great fun!!!
