Sandy, one of our fabulous designers at My Sheri Crafts gave us this picture to inspire us for our challenge at My Sheri Crafts:
The checkered pattern always reminds me of something homey and comforting, so I came up with a card that features Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. The stamped image is from Graphic 45, colored with Copic markers and accented with Gold and Ruby Slippers Stickles. The stamped sentiment is also from Graphic 45. I used Spellbinders dies for the frames and chalked the edges using Pebbles Chalk. The designer papers are from Melissa Frances' Home For The Holidays paper pack and Melody Ross for GCD Studios. The ribbon is from my stash and the leaf flourish was from a swap. The flower is from Prima and the crystals are from Recollections. I added paper lace using a Martha Stewart punch for added embellishment.
Copic markers used:
Skin: E00, E01, E02
Lips/Cheeks: R20
Hair: E51, E53, E55, E57, E59
Shoes/Hair Bows: R46
Dress: BG00, BG63, BG93, BG97
Blouse: W01, W03
Shadow: W03
