August 22 is "Be An Angel Day", and sure enough, our biweekly theme at My Sheri Crafts is all about angels! I made this card using the Sing Glory Close To My Heart stamp set, inked with Glacier Exclusive Ink. I used Juniper Cardstock for the snowflakes and Slate Cardstock for the Background, which I embossed using a Cuttlebug folder. I wanted bling in the card, so I added some Sparkles Clear Assortment. The snowflakes were cut at 1" and the border was cut at 7 1/2" at read dial size using the Arbooking Cricut cartridge.
What a lovely card. Your image is devine, I have seen this image done by Sue Willson in a sketchy manner which is ideal for use with guilding flakes.

I will try that one too, I just need to get some embossing powder in silver. This is a well-loved stamp and I love seeing all the versions each crafter comes up with.
DeleteThis is so pretty and I love how you made the angel lighter and the words darker on top of the angel. And those snowflakes are awesome across the bottom portion. GREAT card. Hugs, Gail
ReplyDeleteYour card truly is GLORIOUS, Peachy! What a lovely stamp to make a stunning Christmas card and still easily mailable -- LOVE that!
