Design team sister Marge challenged us with a birthday-themed card, and part of the challenge was to make a matching envelope. I used the Time To Celebrate paper pad for this challenge once again. I layered an image on two designer papers, added some Prima flowers, vintage lace from former DT sister Charlotte, and a pearl flourish from Recollections. The envelope is just a simple one using coordinating paper. I make my own envelopes sometimes. I just add an extra 1/2 each per side, and make sure that there is a 1 1/2" allowance between the top flap and the envelope opening. I do have two Cricut machines, but I feel that there is too much waste on the paper if I use it instead of my template. I made the envelop first and used the scrap for my A2-sized card.
We'd love to see what you've made at My Sheri Crafts!

Wow wow wow... at first glance, I thought it was a Christmas card because of the colors but what a clever card! I love the way you embellished this and the double-sided paper is just perfect for the matching envelope. Well done... such a pretty card!
