All- White Baby Card

We have an all-white theme for My Sheri Crafts.  White has always represented innocence and purity and what could be more innocent and pure than a baby?  I had to use my New Arrivals Cricut cartridge for this one.  I cut the scalloped "baby" boxes at 3/4", and the baby carriage was cut at 2 1/2".  Spots and Dots and Swiss Dots embossing folders from Cuttlebug were used to add more texture and to keep the white on white look from being too plain.  The frames were cut using Spellbinders and I used paper lace from K&Co, crystals from The Paper Company and white Enamel Accents to embellish the whole card.

Pink Paislee's Parisian Anthology Baby Boy Vintage Mini

.....Whew! That was quite a mouthful for a blog title. lol! I had this idea of an aqua/baby blue vintage mini album for my Little Bean, Baroque Minimalism style. :-D Pink Paislee had the perfect paper line. I used Glimmer Mist in Spanish Moss, Electric Blue and Frost, and Baby's Breath by Shimmerz to customize the paper. To make the design pop out some more, I rubbed Tumbled Glass distressed ink along the edges of the resist design.









Kiko's name was cut at 1" using the Blackletter cartridge. The rest of the die cuts measure 2 1/2" and were cut using Heritage and Nursery Rhymes cartridges from Cricut. Laurie gave me the pompom trim and the baby blue paper clip. The aqua stickpin is from Tammy.

The lace, beaded trim and tulle are from my stash. I used yards of aqua baker's twine and Viva Decor Pearl Pen for added embellishment.

Baby Books

I used the New Arrival cart for the cuts in both books. Plantin' Schoolbook was used for the fonts. I used paper from Core'dinations, K&Co, DCWV and GCD Studios. All embossing was made using Cuttlebug folders.









I also made a baby book using bright summer colors--hot pink and orange that I mixed with pastels.
