I made these roses following the directions from Tim Holtz's tutorial in his blog. I used the Tattered Florals die on grunge paper. I wanted a faint shade of pink with a hint of cream, and some striations on the petals. To achieve this effect, I colored the grunge paper with two coats of white acrylic paint. I applied an antiquing solution to it after the paint dried. I then brushed it with Viva Pink Glimmer mist. I wanted a little more shine, so I applied a thin layer of Bronze Perfect Pearls to the flowers.

I wanted to achieve a glassy look to the flowers, so I dipped the roses on a melting pot filled with clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel.
