Pink Paislee's Parisian Anthology Baby Boy Vintage Mini

.....Whew! That was quite a mouthful for a blog title. lol! I had this idea of an aqua/baby blue vintage mini album for my Little Bean, Baroque Minimalism style. :-D Pink Paislee had the perfect paper line. I used Glimmer Mist in Spanish Moss, Electric Blue and Frost, and Baby's Breath by Shimmerz to customize the paper. To make the design pop out some more, I rubbed Tumbled Glass distressed ink along the edges of the resist design.

Kiko's name was cut at 1" using the Blackletter cartridge. The rest of the die cuts measure 2 1/2" and were cut using Heritage and Nursery Rhymes cartridges from Cricut. Laurie gave me the pompom trim and the baby blue paper clip. The aqua stickpin is from Tammy.

Here's the rest of the recipe for the mini album:
Vintage "B" card- K&Co
Flowers- Petaloo and prima
Silver Mesh- Webster's Pages
Buttons, charms, swivel clasp- Tim Holtz
Dies: Stampin' Up's Top Note die, Kaleidoscope die from Spellbinders, Large Tag and Bookplates by Tim Holtz
German scraps: Making Memories and Jolee's
Flourish die cuts: Recollections
Extra embellishments: Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Silver, Enamel Accents and aqua Baker's twine

The lace, beaded trim and tulle are from my stash. I used yards of aqua baker's twine and Viva Decor Pearl Pen for added embellishment.

Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante Altered Notebook

The bi-weekly theme at My Sheri Crafts is "Back to School". It will be a long while before the Little Bean will have his pictures taken for his school-themed layouts, so I decided to make something that I will use to jot down notes while I get schooled on the joys of parenting. :-D

I took a 99 cent composition notebook and altered it with paper from Graphic 45 and Bo Bunny. I added bloomers from Webster's Pages along the spine. The gears, spinners and book corners are from Tim Holtz. I also used Tim Holtz's Sizzix dies to cut the grungeboard pieces. The teal baby roses are from Prima. I made the flourishes using Liquid Pearls. The pink lace and clock face were from my stash.
