It's Picking Time!

Our fall theme at My Sheri Crafts is all about apple picking and spending time at pumpkin patches.  I decided to go with the pumpkin theme.  I made a criss-cross card using the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers.  I used paper from an older paper pack from Me And My Big Ideas and made a dangle charm using beads from Michael's.  The satin ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  I embossed the inside portion of the criss-cross card using the Pumpkin Harvest Cuttlebug folder.  The smaller card is topped with a pumpkin-colored rose from Recollections.

It's Family Time!

Our little family is having a much-needed vacation right now, so that became my inspiration for our bi-weekly challenge at My Sheri Crafts.  I altered a Maya Road chipboard mini album by combining  paper from Undocumented by Simple Stories, Paris Nights by GCD Studios and La Creme by DCWV.  The vintage frames are from K&Co. The damask ribbon is from Offray. I kept the mini album simple since bulk would make it impossible to close it, so I used the sticker sheet that goes with it and washi tape as embellishments.

The Undocumented series just might be my favorite paper of all time since it combines Baroque with just a little bit of grunge and it comes pre-distressed.

All- White Baby Card

We have an all-white theme for My Sheri Crafts.  White has always represented innocence and purity and what could be more innocent and pure than a baby?  I had to use my New Arrivals Cricut cartridge for this one.  I cut the scalloped "baby" boxes at 3/4", and the baby carriage was cut at 2 1/2".  Spots and Dots and Swiss Dots embossing folders from Cuttlebug were used to add more texture and to keep the white on white look from being too plain.  The frames were cut using Spellbinders and I used paper lace from K&Co, crystals from The Paper Company and white Enamel Accents to embellish the whole card.
