Graphic 45 Christmas Past Shadow Box

I cut some images from last year's Graphic 45 Christmas paper pad for this shadow box. The designer paper on the background is from My Mind's Eye. I placed some berry sprays along the sides and added some roses and skeleton leaves for contrast. I highlighted the images by outlining them with Stickles. I added some crystals and Flower Soft to trim the tree. :-)

Vintage Christmas ATCs

I also made these Artist Trading Cards with the themes of the Spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future in mind. I used paper from Melissa Frances for all three ATCs. The images are from ATC Collection and Graphic 45. The ribbons used are from Hobby Lobby.
I added some Flower Soft around Santa's wreath and some Enamel Accents and Liquid Pearls for added embellishment. The sticker for "Christmas Present" is from Jolee's.
For Christmas Future, I had a scene of a family during Christmas time. The heart border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Angel-Themed Recipe Cards

I got both these recipes from . The cards measure 6"x6" and I used paper from DCWV for these. The ribbons are from Hobby Lobby. I used my Spellbinders dies for the labels and photo mats. The recipe cards are embellished using bling from Prima, Liquid Pearls and some stars from my stash. The corners were punched using a Martha Stewart corner punch.

A Christmas Chunky Charm and Shopping Bag

Candy also received a chunky charm and a shopping bag that I filled with brads, ribbon and Prima flowers.

I used a Tim Holtz swivel clasp to make the chunky charm and added some beads from Michael's, enamel charms and a darling teeny jingle bell.

I made this bag using paper from My Mind's Eye. The ribbon handle is from Hobby Lobby. I embellished it with a stickpin and a flower from Recollections.

Crafty Secrets Santa-Themed Tags

These Santa-themed tags went to Candy. :-) I used images from Crafty Secrets, FLAT stickers (gasp! Yes, flat stickers he-he-he) from The Paper Studio and dimensional stickers from Jolee's. The tag was cut using a Tim Holtz die and the designer papers were from My Mind's Eye. I embellished the tags using Liquid Pearls, a flower and skeleton leaf from Recollection, paper lace from K&Co and lace and beaded trim and a metal embellishment from my stash.

Birdhouse Ornament for My Sheri Crafts

This week's requirement at My Sheri Crafts is to create a Christmas-themed ornament/home decor. I altered a birdhouse that I got from Michael's. The base of the birdhouse was painted with crackle paint and I covered the roof and sides with paper from DCWV and Graphic 45. The awning at the roof was made using the Martha Stewart Cornice border punch, and I made a wreath using Martha Stewart branch punch. The "berries" are made of Liquid Pearls. I added ribbon "pillars" along the edges and Stickles to frame the "windows".

Video for Webster's Pages Vintage Mini Album I

Double click for 1080p resolution. :-)

Webster's Pages Vintage Mini Album I

I have plans to make several other vintage mini albums using Webster's Pages, hence the title. :-) I used the mini papers from Webster's Pages and added some coordinating paper from Anna Griffin and K&Co. Pamela was the recipient of this album and she likes the pink, white and black color combination and vintage.
More product details are discussed in the video on the next post.

Thank You Notecards for My Sheri Crafts

This week's theme at My Sheri Crafts is "Be Thankful". I decided to make "Thank You" notecards instead of focusing mostly on a Thanksgiving theme. There are so many things to be thankful for everyday, and not just on Thanksgiving. When I have a hard day, I close my eyes and count my blessings, and I realize how fortunate I am. :-)

These notecards measure 3"x3". I used designer paper and paper lace from K&Co. The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers, inked using ColorBox. I used clear embossing powder to finish off the look, and cut off the frames using Spellbinders dies. I added "pearls" using Enamel Accents and Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The flowers are from Prima.

Roll Tide!

Our theme for this week's challenge at My Sheri Craftsis sports. My in-laws are avid fans of the Crimson Tide, so I decided to make a card for them.
I cut the paperdoll at 3" using the Everyday Paperdolls Cricut cartridge. The football measures 6" and was embossed using the Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic folder. I embossed the background using the Stars embossing folder. I used stickles to outline the football and the helmet. The letters were cut at 1", using font from the Old West cartridge. The metal "studs" were bought at Hobby Lobby. I pop-dotted the letters and the football player for added dimension.

More Halloween Cards

I made a couple more cards for Halloween; one of them is for (DH) Billy's aunt and the other one is for his Grandma. I used paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland. I used images from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/category/halloween/.
This card measures 5"x7". The button is from Tim Holtz. Baker's twine and a beaded trim complete the look.

I used Prima flowers and buttons from Dress It Up for this A2 sized card.

Halloween Card For My Sheri Crafts

Whew! The little boy finally slept. :-)

Our theme for this week at My Sheri Crafts is "It's The Great Pumpkin!". Halloween is around the corner, so I decided to make a card for my Mother-In-Law. I used paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland paper pack. The clip art is from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/category/halloween/. I used a border punch from Martha Stewart and black tulle to add a Gothic flair, but at the same time, I did not want it to look macabre, so I added the Prima flowers. I used black enamel accents for the flower centers and the "studs". The black pearl stick pin is from Maya Road.

DCWV's Garden Party Pages For A Mini

A while back, I angeled some mini pages for a swap at the Cricut Message Board. Every week had a theme and a challenge and I tried to follow them all to a T. :-) I used paper from DCWV's Garden Party paper pack, and I added paper from Prima and Anna Griffin for a couple of the pages. I sent the mini to Gwynne, who made the rest of the weeks and she also took care of the binding.

Diane's favorite colors are pink and blue. She loves butterflies and bling and I made sure she got plenty of them in this mini. Enjoy it all Diane! :-)

I bought the crystals, and flower sprays from Michael's. The book plate die cut was cut using a Tim Holtz die. The ticket is from Tim Holtz. Tammy gave me the flower.

The second week/pages is all about the word "smile" and the words associated with it. I cut the frame with a Spellbinders die and embossed the insert with a Cuttlebug folder. The flowers and skeleton leaves are from Recollections.

The other challenge is to feature an envelope. I made one to use as a pocket for a photomat and I added a couple more photomats inside the envelope. The border punch used is from Martha Stewart. The paper lace is from K&Co.

The theme for this week's pages was "Nature", and the challenge was to use border punches and a pocket. I used Martha Stewart punches for this page and used Spellbinders dies for the photomat in the next page.

"Friendship" is the theme for these pages. I chose a quote from Henry Ford. I made the frame using a Spellbinders die. The flowers are from Prima. Another challenge is to make pockets for tags, so I made tiered pockets for the tags.

The crystals in the next page are from Recollections. I folded a 4"x12" piece of double-sided cardstock in three and tied it on the side with a crinkle ribbon.

I tried to emphasize the designer paper for the back cover by adding a flower (thanks again Tammy!) and crystals. The lace is from Prima.
