Vintage Spring Mini Album For My Sheri Crafts

What does spring remind me of? Flowers, butterflies, birds, pure colors---the world reborn. :-)

This mini album measures 6"x6". I used paper from K&Co, Prima, Basic Grey, DCWV, Amanda Blu and Bo Bunny. The flowers are from Prima, Recollections and Petaloo. I used vintage lace and paper lace for accents. The wrought iron gates for the front and back covers are from Ornamental iron, cut at 4 1/2". The crystals are from Martha Stewart, Recollections and The Paper Studio. I used Martha Stewart punches and Spellbinders dies for the frames and butterflies for this project. The brads are from The Paper Studio. I also used Viva decor Pearl Pen for the flourishes.

I used a swivel clasp from Tim Holtz for the charm. The flower and brad are from the Paper Studio, and I found some beads from Michael's to add to the charm.




I made an envelope for this page, to hold more pictures.



My friend Tracy gave me this fabric flower and stickpin during one of the GIBBS swaps.


I made a waterfall layout for the last page.

Vintage Altered Box for My Sheri Crafts

A very good friend of mine bought me chocolates the last time we went to The Venetian in Vegas. The box was just as pretty as the chocolates inside it. I kept it and decided to alter it, using the brown palette as my theme.



The papers that I used are from DCWV, and Bo Bunny. The stamped image is from La Blanche Stamps. I used a flower from Recollections and ribbon from Stampin' Up. The paper lace is from K&Co, embellished with Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The crystals are from Martha Stewart. I cut the frames using Spellbinders dies and pop-dotted the image.

Warning: a lot of greens were used in the making of this card. :-D My Sheri Crafts is celebrating St. Patrick's Day! For this card, I used an image from ATC Collection. The papers are from Basic Grey and Prima. I also used Stickles for the cut outs and the frames are from Spellbinders. To add more texture, I added Flower Soft on the shamrock. The green ribbon is from a swap.

Celebrating Mardi Gras!

Mardi Gras falls on the 8th of March this year. We are feeling very festive at My Sheri Crafts and decided...hey, we need to chase the winter blues away and celebrate! I was inspired by the French Quarter when I made this card, hence the fleur-de-lis theme and the Gothic colors. I was thrilled to find that fabric trim with the iridescent beads in my stash. It reminded me of the beads they give away during the Mardi Gras festivities.


I sprayed some Tim Holtz Paper with Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists and cut off the fleur-de-lis die cuts using my Spellbinders dies. The border punches are from EK Success and Martha Stewart. The gold eyelets are from Making Memories. The black designer paper is from DCWV's Mariposa stack. The center fleur-de-lis was pop dotted to add more dimension.
