Vintage Patriotic Card For My Sheri Crafts

I got the lovely vintage image from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/vintage-american-flag-lady-liberty1.jpg. I made an adaptation of the triangle tri-fold card. I decided to cut the triangle for the front part of the card and leave the other two sides square, so I will have more surfaces to embellish.
The designer papers are from The Paper Studio. The scalloped frame for the vintage clip art was made using a Spellbinders die. The bookplate was cut using a Tim Holtz die. Fore embellishments, I added crinkle ribbon, flourishes and crystals from Recollection, paper lace from K&Co and Prima flowers.

Spring-Themed Exploding Box

I loved the soft hues of this DCWV Paper pack. I added a rose-printed designer paper from My Mind's Eye and voila! I ended up with a distinctly feminine exploding box. :-D


I added frames from Spellbinders for the inside squares, and dotted the scallops with Liquid Pearls. The box cover was embellished using flowers from Prima and skeleton leaves from Recollection, sheer ribbon from Offray, a Tim Holtz ticket and pearl flourishes from Prima.

Beach Layouts For My Sheri Crafts

I am still playing catch up with my layouts and personal scrapbooking, that's why I decided to take a break from my swaps and focus on some personal crafting instead.

Hubby and I used to live near the beach in Florida and it seemed like we were on vacation all the time. :-)

I used some paper that I got from Michael's and layered a thin strip of sinamay on it. I added some Prima flowers, and tiny shells and pearls for the flower centers. I adhered stickers from Me And My Big Ideas and made some swirls using Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The sun had some added shine to it, thanks to the Stickles. :-D

The paper on the second layout is from Michael's and DCWV. The stickers are from EK Success and Jolee's Boutique. I added some white mulberry paper and stitched around the layered frames. I wanted more color, so I added a row of Prima flowers along the bottom of the page.

Once Upon A Springtime Tags

I love the coordinating stamps that go with the Graphic 45 paper packs! I cut the tags From Tags, Bags, Boxes and More at 4 1/2" using the Blackout Key. I had a ball coloring the images with Copic markers. :-) I kept the tags simple by adding some Prima flowers, borders from Recollections, borders punched out using Martha Stewart and swirls and dots made using Viva Decor Pearl Pens.

American Beauties in Red, White And Blue

I outfitted these paper dolls from the Once Upon A Princess cartridge with dresses using paper from Prima, Melody Ross, K&Co and MAMBI. The dolls were cut at 3 1/2". Paper used was GinaK 80 lb. I embellished them with Stickles, Enamel Accents and Liquid Pearls and colored them using my Copic Markers.

Diamond Fold Father's Day Card

I used paper from Basic Grey's Cupcake 6x6 paper stack, and The Paper Studio. The sentiment was stamped using JustRite Stampers. I made the frames using my Spellbinders Nestabilities dies. Embellishments include: Liquid Pearls, Enamel Accents and baker's twine. I kept the design simple since dad is a no-nonsense guy. :-)

Pillow Boxes for Flag Day

June the 14th is just around the corner and guess what day it is? Flag Day! :-) For my project for My Sheri Crafts, I decided to make pillow boxes to hold small gift items. The pillow boxes came from the Easter cartridge, and I just hid the bunny cut using my Gypsy. I used Cat's Eye ink from ColorBox to ink the edges. The paper used are from The paper Studio and My Mind's Eye. I punched along the edges of the accent paper using Martha Stewart Stars punch. I used baker's twine to tuck the vintage images that I printed out from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com.
