This is another project that I made for my swap partner. She loves the beach and I wanted something that will bring happy memories about the beach. I got the "canvas" from the dollar store. I used quotation marks when referring to it since the material is not exactly canvas, but more like thin awning material. I used paper from Graphic 45's Tropical Travelogue paper pack.
The rolled sinamay, the hat as well as the miniature shells are from the Philippines. I used bright-colored hydrangeas from Prima and a pink butterfly from Recollections. The large shell is from a potpourri pack.
I added Stickles on the main image and inked the edges of that stamps. Tim Holtz tissue tape was added along the edges of the frame to complete the look.

Coffee Subway Art
My swap partner requested for subway art and she also loves coffee, so here's what I came up with. The background paper is from Bazzill and I used various brown designer paper from DCWV and Melissa Frances for the fonts. I used the following Cricut cartridges for the cuts:
- Black Letter
- Alphalicious
- Cindy Loo
- Gypsy Font
- Plantin' Schoolbook
- Life's A Beach
- Pooh Font
- Jasmine
- Story Book
- Old West
I added chalk to the background for a more textured look.

Steampunk Debutante Shadow Box
I altered this shadow box for a swap at the Cricut message board. I used paper from Graphic 45's Steampunk Debutante paper pack. The plain cream background paper was from DCWV and I stamped it with stamps from Graphic 45 and created a butterfly border at the top. I also added some butterflies at the backround paper to customize it even further. The grungeboard gears and large clock were cut using Tim Holtz dies and I added some Tim Holtz metal gears on the centers. The clock is flanked on the left by a metal butterfly from Graphic 45 that I embossed using an embossing folder from Tim Holtz. To the right of the clock is a butterfly with a clock face from my stash. To jazz up the steampunk lady's look, I added feathers from Michael's and pearl wings from ZVA Creative. The metal clasps were received from a swap (thanks to Honey Cat's mom!) . The pearl heart is from Recollections and the red rose is from Prima. The images were all pop-dotted for added dimension.

I Scream For Ice Cream! :-)
It's in the high 100s where I'm at right now and nothing could be more fun to eat than ice cream. That's our theme for our bi-weekly challenge at My Sheri Crafts. I was fortunate to have the perfect paper from Basic Grey's Cupcake paper stack. I used my Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge to cut the ice cream at 3" and the sentiment was cut at 1 1/2". I used Cat's Eye inks for inking. The frames are from Spellbinders. I used Martha Stewart's Cornice border punch for the border and Viva Decor pearl pen for the "chocolate dots".

Kaisercraft Bookend Drawers
I altered this bookend drawers using paper from Tim Holtz's Lost and Found paper pack. I stamped it with various Tim Holtz stamps, applied Claudine Hellmuth's Multi Medium on the ledger paper and added tissue tape along the edges. I painted the interior of the drawers with acrylic dabbers in Espresso. I all inking were done using Cat's Eye inks from ColorBox.
Steampunk Inspired Dressform
Can sleek and steampunk coexist with each other?
I tried to challenge myself with this altered dressform. The top of the dress was made out of Tim Holtz tissue tape, inked around the edges and draped on the dressform.
The a-line skirt, which was made of brown packing paper was stamped using Graphic 45 and 7 Gypsies stamps. I sprayed the paper with Gold Glimmer Mist and added Viva Decor Pearl pen flourishes and pearl dots on the butterflies.
I added braid from my DT sister Charlotte and clock faces from my stash to complete the look.

Graphic 45's Magic Of Oz Card For MySheri Crafts
Sandy, one of our fabulous designers at My Sheri Crafts gave us this picture to inspire us for our challenge at My Sheri Crafts:
The checkered pattern always reminds me of something homey and comforting, so I came up with a card that features Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. The stamped image is from Graphic 45, colored with Copic markers and accented with Gold and Ruby Slippers Stickles. The stamped sentiment is also from Graphic 45. I used Spellbinders dies for the frames and chalked the edges using Pebbles Chalk. The designer papers are from Melissa Frances' Home For The Holidays paper pack and Melody Ross for GCD Studios. The ribbon is from my stash and the leaf flourish was from a swap. The flower is from Prima and the crystals are from Recollections. I added paper lace using a Martha Stewart punch for added embellishment.
Copic markers used:
Skin: E00, E01, E02
Lips/Cheeks: R20
Hair: E51, E53, E55, E57, E59
Shoes/Hair Bows: R46
Dress: BG00, BG63, BG93, BG97
Blouse: W01, W03
