Vintage Patriotic Gatefold Album

Happy Birthday America! :-) It's in the sweltering 110s here and yes, I am scheduled to work tonight but hey--there is so much worth celebrating for! :-)

I made this album for a swap. My Secret Sister specified that she wanted a gatefold mini album, so I indulged her. :-) I used paper from My Mind's Eye, The Paper Studio and DCWV. For frames, I used dies from Tim Holtz and Spellbinders. The rosettes were made using Tim Holtz dies. Flourishes and roses are from Prima and the crystals were from Recollections. I also used lace from The Paper Studio. The album is made of chipboard since I wanted it to be sturdy.

Here's the link of the copyright-free site that I went to for the clip art I used for the tags:

Check out the video I made in the next post.

  1. This is a gorgeous album! Love all your details! I am sure your secret sister will love and treasure this album!

  2. Beautiful work... you never stop amazing me. How are you? I didn't have access to the MB for a while due to computer / laptop problems. I'm so excited for you and your baby!

I left an award for you, come pick it up!
