Our Design Team Sister Raquel from My Sheri Crafts challenged us to make a Halloween project for treats, bags or any cute projects. I was so excited when I made this Haunted Cottage from SVG Cuts using the Nevermore Paper Packet since it features two favorites of mine--Steampunk and Halloween! I used black cardstock for my base and inked it up with White Daisy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. I inked the edges of the designer paper with Cocoa Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. The windows had vellum under it. The roof was stamped with images from Steampunk Scoundrels. Now all my cottage needs is an electronic tealight and it's all set for Halloween!

It's my turn once again to host the biweekly challenge at My Sheri Crafts, and I chose the theme "Black Magic" since Halloween is next week. :-D
I made a layout using Scaredy Cat paper packet, Scaredy Cat Assortment, Halloween Greetings Stamp Set, Black Exclusive Inks Stamp pad, and added some Black Striped Twill Ribbon. The layout format is from Reflections.

Halloween Pop Up Box Card
Box cards have been so popular for a while, so I decided to give it a try, thanks to the Splitcoastampers tutorial. I used theScaredy Cat paper packet from Close To My Heart, and the layout patterns from Reflections. The stamp set is from Halloween Greetings, stamped using Thistle, Black and Sunset Exclusive Ink.
I added Black Striped Twill Ribbon and a border with a bat design to the outside of the card.

A Night Owl's First Hallowe'en
I was very excited when Charlotte gave us a challenge featuring "The Night". Well it's about time I make a layout featuring the baby's first Halloween. I fussy cut the pumpkins and owl and raven strips from a Halloween-themed paper from Reminisce. I made paper lace using a bat border punch from EK Success. The cobweb paper is from DCWV. The font was cut using the Happy Haunting Cricut cartridge and measures 1 1/2". The moon is from October 31st, cut at 2". I traced the edges of the letters and the pumpkins with Stickles to make this simple layout pop.
The night owl was asleep all throughout the photo session. :-)

My Mind's Eye Lost And Found Halloween Mini Album
I made this album for a swap and I used paper from My Mind's Eye. I also made die cut frames using the Happy Haunting cartridge. The album measures 6"x6", so I cut the frames at 5". The spider, haunted house, apothecary bottle and gargoyle were from the October 31st cartridge and were cut at 3 1/2". I used cardstock from Core'dinations and some glittered black, yellow and green cardstock as well. I used silk flowers from Prima and handmade the smaller flowers using a die from Cheery Lynn. The black pearl flourish on the cover was from Prima. I also made some flourishes using black enamel accents, and added more pearls using Viva Decor Pearl pen. The pumpkin stickers are from Jolee's. I added a skeleton and black tulle to embellish the wire binding.

My Mind's Eye Gothic Wall Plaque
I altered a wooden plaque from the dollar store using paper from My Mind's Eye. The spider web, candle and tree were cut at 3 1/2" using the October 31st cartridge. I added a sparkly spider and a skeleton for a more macabre feel.
A Witch's Hat
I decided to modify the original top hat template that I had and instead of a cylinder, I made a cone out of a 9" circle and voila! I have a Gothic witch's hat. I folded 1/4" tabs at the bottom part of the cone outward and sandwiched (sand witch? lol!) them between the two paper "doughnuts".
I used paper from GCD Studio's Paris Nights line. The black pearls are from Prima. I added black flowers that I had cut using a die from Cherry Lynn, centered with "pearls" made using Viva Decor Pearl pen in cream. Tulle, orange and green feathers and a skeleton cameo were used as additional embellishments.

Happy Haunting!
I made a trick or treat bag and a tag for our Halloween challenge at My Sheri Crafts. I used paper from DCWV for the bag and the tag was made using paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland. I made a pocket to hold the tag by fanfolding a piece of paper and added a bow made of Baker's twine as an accent piece. A flower from Petaloo, black crystals, a skeleton leaf and bat trim from Recollections were used to embellish the tag. Black tulle was added for the bag's handle and the tag.

More Halloween Cards
I made a couple more cards for Halloween; one of them is for (DH) Billy's aunt and the other one is for his Grandma. I used paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland. I used images from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/category/halloween/.
This card measures 5"x7". The button is from Tim Holtz. Baker's twine and a beaded trim complete the look.

I used Prima flowers and buttons from Dress It Up for this A2 sized card.

Halloween Card For My Sheri Crafts
Whew! The little boy finally slept. :-)
Our theme for this week at My Sheri Crafts is "It's The Great Pumpkin!". Halloween is around the corner, so I decided to make a card for my Mother-In-Law. I used paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland paper pack. The clip art is from http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/category/halloween/. I used a border punch from Martha Stewart and black tulle to add a Gothic flair, but at the same time, I did not want it to look macabre, so I added the Prima flowers. I used black enamel accents for the flower centers and the "studs". The black pearl stick pin is from Maya Road.
