My Sheri Crafts design team sister Sue challenges us to create a project featuring at least 3 dimensional elements. I made a card using paper from Kaisercraft. I added a snowflake that I made using a die from Spellbinders, some Prima and Recollections flowers and leaves, and shimmer trim and sequins from Close To My Heart.

Christmas Spirit
Welcome to another fun My Sheri Crafts challenge! We are feeling the Christmas Spirit in our blog! Design Sister Sandy requests for us to make a vintage-inspired card or project. I have been busy making some pretties for my online swaps and here they are! I am not done with my Christmas crafting yet, so there's more to come. I made some folders using paper from Tone Finager and Graphic 45, and filled up the pockets and mini envelopes with die cuts from Tim Holtz and Die-namics, and some tags and clothespins from Target and Marshalls. The stamped images that I colored with Copics are from Close To My Heart, Magnolia and Sara Kay Designs.
I also made some handmade Project Life cards for Christmas, using paper from Craft Smith. The die cut tree is from Cheery Lynn Dies. The wooden embellishments are from Paperchase and I got the washi tape and gold polka dot mini kraft banner from Hobby Lobby. The Red and Silver Shimmer Trims are from Close To My Heart.
Another project that I made are some tags using Tim Holtz Sizzix dies, stencils, Distress Sprays and designer paper. The wooden embellishments are from Paperchase.
I also made a pouch and a mini envelope filled with die cuts and wood embellishments for the swap hostess.
Lastly, here's a pocket letter that I made using paper from Craft Smith and Close To My Heart. I colored "Jill" the Prima paperdoll with Copic markers. I added some die cuts from Sizzix, burlap flowers and confetti from Hobby Lobby, and Paperchase wooden embellishments.
We would love to have you join our Christmas challenge at My Sheri Crafts!

Oh Christmas Tree!
Our My Sheri Crafts Design Team sister Sue gave us the challenge to feature a card with a Christmas tree in it. Lately, I have been making a lot of cards using my Artfully Sent Cartridge. I actually wanted to make the next card, but ended up cutting this, so I decided to go with it. I added a deer that I cut using a Tim Holtz Sizzix die. The Christmas Tree was stamped and cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge and the stamp set that was included in the kit. The beautiful background paper is from Close To My Heart's Yuletide Carol Paper packet. Since I could not resist bling, I just had to add some Sequins Gold Assoirtment. :-D

Christmas in July
DT sister Sue challenged us with a Christmas in July theme this week and I would like to send her a virtual hug since Christmas is my favorite holiday and if it were up to me, I'd celebrate it everyday. Another requirement for the project is for it to have layers:-D
This picture was taken a couple of Christmases ago. I put on an identical Santa hat on the baby who was not too happy having his pic taken with Santa at his workshop. We had a good pic before the tears started falling.
I used paper from Webster's Pages from their Waiting For Santa paper pack. The paper was so beautiful and I felt that it would be a shame to cover it up, so I came up with this layout design with that in mind. I had hoarded that paper for four long years and I am not embarrassed to admit that. lol! The puffy damask stickers were given to me by Jeri, and the sentiment Believe" was cut from the Cricut Artbooking cartridge using Ruby Cardstock. I added some Sparkles Black Flourishes from Close To My Heart to make the layout more festive.

Nutcracker Sweet Printer's Tray
We're celebrating a Funky Christmas at My Sheri Crafts! I altered a printer's tray from Michael's with paper from Graphic 45's Nutcracker Sweet collection,--featuring teal, purple, pink, peach and yellow mixed with traditional Christmas colors. The main images were covered with Glossy Accents, outlined with Stickles and pop-dotted. This project makes me smile everytime I look at it. :-)

Day 10 Of A Nontraditional Christmas
"Ten lords a-leaping" is all about masculine card fronts, and we were required to make two. My Secret Sister asked for card fronts for her two boys--- one who plays the saxophone, and the other one plays basketball. I used Christmas paper from Memory Box and Melissa Frances for the card fronts. The frames were cut using Spellbinders dies. The saxophone is a Jolee's sticker. I added crinkle ribbon in gray to add a vintage touch, and added a cardstock base embossed with the Allegro Cuttlebug folder. The ornament tops are stickers that I pieced together to make basketball ornaments. I added Stickles for a more festive look, stars and embossed the background using the Stars Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Day Seven Of A Nontraditional Christmas
"Seven swans a-swimming" calls to mind water, so for the seventh day of the swap, we had to buy/make items in blues/greens, or colors of the ocean. My Secret Sister wanted cuts from the Lacy Labels cartridge, so I made her some. I used Core'dinations and Bazzil cardstock in blues and teals. To embellish the cuts, I sanded and inked the edges with silver and navy Cat's Eye ink pad, added pearl dots with a Viva Decor Pearl pen and pop-dotted the smaller cuts. The cuts measure 3 1/2".

Day Six Of A Nontraditional Christmas-- Oval Tilda Tags For My Sheri Crafts
Our theme of making Christmas tags/containers for My Sheri Crafts coincided nicely with the day six directive for my Christmas swap. We were required to make three oval tags. Since it's Christmas, I decided to make six. I used Spellbinders dies for the shape of the tags and several Tilda Christmas images which I colored using Copic markers. The designer paper are from Melissa Frances and Memory Box. For the trimmings, I used vintage lace, a deep red ribbon from Hobby Lobby and red crinkle ribbon. I kept the embellishments simple. I used Stickles and Viva Decor Pearl pen for added sparkle.

Christmas Emporium Mini Album for My Sheri Crafts
I started this mini album when I was pregnant a year ago and I finally got to finish it in time for Christmas this year. :-D Other priorities like keeping the baby fed and clean took precedence but now that he has been sleeping through the night, my life has started to get back in order. Other challenges like the pain in both my wrists kept me off the computer except for a few minutes at a time when I'm at home also put a damper on my blog activities. Anyhow, there are more projects for me to play catch up with, and this is one of them. :-) Thank you so much for bearing with me and keeping up with the projects that I have been posting!
I used Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium paper pack and Core'dinations cardstock for this mini album. The sprays on the cover were from the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby. The pearls and mini roses are from Prima. The silk flowers are from Recollections. The paper flowers and leaves inside the mini were made using Cheery Lynn dies. The crystals are from Recollections, The Paper Studio and Martha Stewart. I added cabochons that I got from Hobby Lobby, ribbon from Offray and buttons from Basic Grey. I went a little crazy with my use of the checkered washi tape but I loved the way it looked so much against the colors of the background paper. I wanted to add more sparkle, so I added Stickles on the pages.
There are so many pockets in this album that I would like to show you and there's going to be a video on the works soon!
