In Celebration Of Mother's Day At My Sheri Crafts

We want to celebrate Mother's Day far ahead at My Sheri Crafts, to beat the last minute rush. I was able to finish several layouts with a "mom-to-be" theme in mind.

I used paper from Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue. I also used paper from GCD Studio's Paris Nights for my matting and to accent second layout. The flowers are from Prima, Petaloo and Recollections. The pearls are from Prima. I made use of the sticker sheet that came with the paper pack for the font. I got the peacock feather from a swap.

Flower Box for My Sheri Crafts

This week's project is all about 3D gift containers. I cut the flower box at "Fit to Page" using my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge. The paper is from Basic Grey's Romani paper pack. The flowers are from Prima, and the pearl and pink crystals are from Recollections. I made rosettes to adorn all four corners of the box using my Tim Holtz die.

Graphic 45 Bunny Card For My Sheri Crafts

Beautiful paper always presents a dilemma. It is almost heartbreaking to cut or even think of covering it up. For this week's bunny theme, I used paper from Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime paper pack and stamped images from Graphic 45/Hampton Arts. I used Pebbles chalk for the background inside the Spellbinders frames. The pink cabochons along the corners are from The Paper Studio. The flower is from Prima.

I got the crinkle ribbon from a swap (thanks Dianne! :-D) and the stickpin is from Tracy (thanks again, Tracy!! :-D).



I colored the bunny image using Copic markers.

Button Up!

Our weekly theme at My Sheri Crafts for this week is "Buttons". I wanted to make something fun, whimsical and festive for this week's project. :-D

I cut the panda from Create-A-Critter at 2". The paper is from Basic Grey's Cupcake paper pad. The background paper mat is from DCWV. I used buttons from Basic Grey for the balloon centers. The balloons were cut using my Spellbinders dies. The stamped sentiment is from JustRite Stampers. The grass was cut freehand. To finish off the card, I used pop dots on the panda, some of the balloons and applied Stickles along the edges to make the card sparkle.

Singin' In The Rain

It's all about "April Showers" this week at My Sheri Crafts. While we are in desperate need for one in the desert, I was inspired by the movie and decided to make a card based on it. I had the perfect Tim Holtz stamp, which I inked using Colorbox Ink. I embossed the background paper with "Allegro". The vintage music sheet is from my stash and the raindrops are from Cloud 9. The tag is from Spellbinders.
