Mini Folder

I made this mini folder as an entry for this week's Design Team project at My Sheri Crafts. I used paper from DCWV's The Whimsy Stack, and Bazzill. I used a Doodle Flowers stamp from Inkadinkado, and colored it using Prismacolor Pencils. Glossy accents was applied on the flower to give it a shiny look. Spellbinders dies were used for the flower die cuts. The lace paper is from K&Co.

This mini folder measures 6"x8". To make this folder, score a 12"x12" piece of paper at 6". Flip it sideways and score at 8". Trim 1/2" off the bottom part. Cut the bottom scored line until it meets the horizontal line. Mark the bottom of the divided cardstock at 10 cm on each side. Make a diagonal mark until the horizontal line and cut.

Apply adhesive on both outer sides of the lower part of the cardstock and fold up. Stamp a flower image, color with pencils and apply glossy accents. Layer several cuts of Spellbinders Dahlia to form flowers. Top with stamped image and buttons. Embellish mini folder with paper ribbon, flowers and stamped sentiment.
